Buyagift - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Buyagift - from voucher codes to how long a gift lasts.
How do I use a Buyagift voucher code?
Choose your experience, add it to the basket and go to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code field before paying, then check that the discount has been taken off.
How long does the recipient have to use a Buyagift voucher?
A Buyagift voucher can be used for 12 months, which gives the recipient time to find a date that suits them and book with the experience provider.
Does Buyagift offer corporate gifts?
Yes. Buyagift has a corporate gifting service, which suits businesses that want to reward staff or clients with an experience rather than a physical present.
Tips for using a Buyagift voucher code
Enter your Buyagift voucher code at the checkout before you complete payment, and check the order total to make sure it has been applied. Read the terms of the code first, as it may only cover certain experiences or categories, or need a minimum spend. The code discounts your purchase and is separate from the gift voucher you are buying.
How to save at Buyagift
A Buyagift voucher code is the simplest way to cut the cost of an experience gift. Choosing the free e-voucher by email rather than a posted envelope or gift box avoids paying for postage. If the recipient would rather do something else, a voucher can be swapped for another experience, which saves buying a second gift.
Payment methods
Buyagift accepts the following payment methods:
- Debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard)
- American Express
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna (pay later and instalments)
Delivery
An e-voucher is sent free and instantly by email, which works well for last-minute gifts. If you want something to hand over, choose a physical envelope or gift box instead, and it is posted on the next working day.
Returns and cancellation rights
You can get a refund on an unused voucher within 30 days of buying it, although any postage you paid is not refunded. After those 30 days a refund is no longer possible, but the voucher can still be exchanged for a different experience.
