Definitions

In this text, "DiscountList", "we", "us" and "our" mean the website discountlist.co.uk together with the company responsible for it, Riror AB (Swedish company reg. no. 559281-9758).

Advertising disclosure and affiliate links

DiscountList is an independent service that gathers voucher codes and deals from UK retailers. We do not sell any products ourselves.

DiscountList contains affiliate links and advertising. That means we may earn commission when you click a link and buy something from a retailer. The commission does not affect the price you pay - it is the same whether you reach the retailer through DiscountList or go there directly.

It is this affiliate model that funds DiscountList and lets us offer the site and the service completely free to you as a visitor.

How affiliate links work

  • When you click a link to a retailer on DiscountList, we may earn commission if you make a purchase.
  • The commission is paid by the retailer, not by you as the shopper.
  • We aim to present the best offers regardless of whether we are paid for them.
  • The order in which offers appear can be influenced by commercial agreements.

Advertising

DiscountList is funded by affiliate commission. We do not currently run display advertising or sponsored placements, and we set no advertising cookies - see our privacy policy for the cookies we do set. If that changes, we will update this page and our privacy policy before any such advertising appears, and any advertising content will be controlled by the advertiser rather than being editorial material from DiscountList.

Editorial independence

Which discounts and deals we feature is decided by relevance and quality. We aim to give accurate and impartial information regardless of any commercial relationship.

Independence and trade marks

DiscountList is a separate and independent service. We have no official affiliation with the retailers, brands or companies we link to or promote. We have affiliate or other marketing arrangements with some of them, but a retailer or brand appearing on DiscountList does not by itself mean we have any arrangement with them. A retailer can be listed on the site with no relationship or agreement between us at all. The presence of a retailer or brand on DiscountList does not imply that the company in question endorses, supports or is affiliated with us.

Any logos, images and trade marks shown on DiscountList belong to the respective company or trade mark holder. Such material is used for identification purposes, to help visitors recognise and find offers, and implies no claim of ownership or rights on the part of DiscountList. If you hold the rights and want your material removed, contact us through our contact page and we will help.

Terms of use

By using DiscountList you accept the following terms.

General

DiscountList presents voucher codes, deals and promotions from third-party retailers. We do not sell any products or services ourselves; we refer visitors on to the retailer's own website. If you have a question about a product, a service, an order or a delivery, contact that company directly.

DiscountList is purely an information service. Any agreement or purchase is made solely between you and the retailer concerned, and DiscountList is not a party to it. We accept no responsibility and cannot be held liable for a retailer's products, services, offers, prices, deliveries, customer service, guarantees or other obligations to you.

Prohibited use

When you use the site, you undertake not to:

  • Use automated methods (bots, scraping or systematic collection, for example) to copy, gather or reuse content from the site without our written consent.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures, technical restrictions or access controls.
  • Manipulate, attempt to alter, or misuse the site's features or content.
  • Overload, disrupt or otherwise interfere with the operation of the site, its servers or the underlying infrastructure.
  • Use the site in a way that breaks applicable law or these terms, or that could harm DiscountList or other users.

We reserve the right to restrict or block access for anyone who breaches these terms.

Accuracy of information

All data, text and information on DiscountList is provided as is, without warranty or representation of any kind as to its accuracy, completeness or currency.

We work to keep everything on DiscountList correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it always is. Voucher codes, deals and promotions are taken from third-party sources and can change or end without notice from the retailer concerned.

Always check the final price and the terms directly with the retailer before you complete a purchase.

Third-party links

DiscountList contains links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or accuracy of those sites. Any complaint or claim should be directed to the retailer concerned.

Limitation of liability

DiscountList is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We accept no responsibility for invalid, expired or incorrect voucher codes, deals or promotions presented on the site.

We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to. Each retailer and service provider is responsible for its own products, prices and terms.

DiscountList cannot be held liable for errors or omissions on the site, including but not limited to incorrect information, technical problems or interruptions to the service.

In no circumstances are we liable for direct or indirect damage, cost or loss arising because an offer or a voucher code does not work, has changed, has been withdrawn or has stopped being valid, or because you relied on information on the site.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Availability and changes to the service

We reserve the right at any time and for any reason to change, restrict, temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue all or part of the site and the service, without prior notice and without liability to you or any third party.

Force majeure

DiscountList cannot be held liable for delays, disruption or unavailability caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, for example, power cuts, faults or outages at internet or server providers, failures in third-party services, denial-of-service attacks or other intrusions, fire, natural disaster, pandemic, war, decisions by public authorities, industrial action or other similar events.

Governing law

Swedish law applies to this disclaimer and these terms, and any dispute is to be settled by a Swedish court. If you use the site as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
