About Crocus
Crocus is an online garden centre with its own nursery in Surrey, trading since 2000. It sells plants, bulbs and seeds alongside houseplants, fruit and vegetables, pots, garden tools, outdoor furniture and gifts, and much of the range is grown by Crocus itself or sold under its Crocus Collection label.
Crocus - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Crocus - from voucher codes to plant guarantees and gift vouchers.
How do I use a Crocus voucher code?
Add your plants and garden products to the basket and go to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code field before you pay, then check that the discount appears in the order total.
Does Crocus guarantee its plants?
Yes. Plants bought from Crocus come with a 5-year guarantee. Read the guarantee terms on the Crocus website to see what is covered and how to make a claim.
Can I buy a Crocus gift voucher?
Yes. Crocus sells e-gift vouchers, which let a keen gardener choose their own plants, bulbs or tools rather than you having to guess what their garden needs.
Tips for using a Crocus voucher code
Enter your Crocus voucher code at the checkout before you confirm payment, and look at the order summary to make sure the reduction has been applied. Read the terms of the code first, since an offer may need a minimum spend, apply only to certain products or be limited to a first order, and a code cannot usually be added after the order is placed.
How to save at Crocus
A Crocus voucher code at the checkout is the quickest way to take money off an order. Joining the Crocus Club newsletter brings an offer for your first order, so sign up before you buy. Before you order, check the delivery charge for each item in your basket, as it varies with the type of product.
Delivery
Crocus delivers within the UK only. Standard delivery takes around 3 working days, or up to 5 for seeds, and the charge depends on the type of item, from £2.99 for seeds up to £15.99 for oversized products. Named-day delivery starts at £8.99, and selected items can arrive the next day if ordered before noon Monday to Thursday. Some postcodes, such as the Highlands and the Isle of Wight, carry a surcharge.
Returns and cancellation rights
To return an item, let Crocus know within 14 days of delivery, then send it back within a further 14 days. Goods must be in their original condition and packaging. Refunds are made within 7 working days of the item arriving back, and the delivery and return costs are deducted from the amount refunded.
