Garden Buildings Direct - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Garden Buildings Direct - from voucher codes to finance and help with an order.
How do I use a Garden Buildings Direct voucher code?
Add your garden building or other products to the basket and go to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code box before paying, and check that the discount has come off the order total.
Can I pay for a garden building on finance?
Yes. Finance is offered through Novuna Personal Finance, which lets you spread the cost of a larger purchase such as a log cabin or garden office. Approval and terms are set by the lender.
Where can I get help with a Garden Buildings Direct order?
The website has a help centre with guidance on delivery, returns and other order questions, and a blog that is worth reading if you are planning a new garden building.
Tips for using a Garden Buildings Direct voucher code
Enter your Garden Buildings Direct voucher code at the checkout before you pay, and check the total to confirm the reduction. Read the terms first, because a code may only apply to certain products, such as sheds or log cabins, or need a minimum spend. Many codes run for set dates, so use one before it expires.
How to save at Garden Buildings Direct
A Garden Buildings Direct voucher code is the simplest saving at the checkout. Delivery is free in Zone 1, but check your delivery zone and chosen date before ordering, since surcharges can apply on certain dates or to certain postcodes. Returning a heavy item costs 70p per kilo, so measure your space carefully before buying a shed or cabin to avoid an expensive return.
Payment methods
Garden Buildings Direct accepts the following payment methods:
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa Electron)
- American Express
- PayPal
Delivery
Orders go out in one of three ways: Yodel for boxed items under 30kg and 1.5m, a BillyOh van for sheds and heavier boxes, and a bespoke van for log cabins. Delivery is free in Zone 1, which covers most of England and Wales, though surcharges can apply on some dates and postcodes. Zones 2-5 pay a charge, and Zone 6 is not served.
Returns and cancellation rights
You can return an item within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is in its original condition and packaging. You need to send a photo before a collection is booked, and a collection fee of 70p per kilo is taken off the refund. The money goes back to your original payment method within 14 days of the item arriving back.
More about Garden Buildings Direct
Garden Buildings Direct was founded in 2000 by Charles Walton and is still family-run, trading under the parent company Kybotech Ltd. Its garden buildings are designed and made in its own factory in the UK, and its own brand, BillyOh, also gives its name to the company's van delivery service. The range spans sheds in wood, metal and plastic, log cabins and garden offices, summerhouses, workshops, greenhouses and playhouses for children, with storage, furniture, barbecues, heating and garden tools alongside, so a whole garden project can be sourced from one place.
