Lightbulbs Direct - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Lightbulbs Direct - from voucher codes to warranties and trade accounts.
How do I use a Lightbulbs Direct voucher code?
Add your bulbs or fittings to the basket and go to the checkout on lightbulbs-direct.com. Enter the voucher code in the code field before you pay, then check that the total has been reduced.
Do Lightbulbs Direct LED bulbs come with a warranty?
Yes. LED bulbs bought from Lightbulbs Direct are covered by a two-year warranty, which is worth keeping in mind if a bulb stops working sooner than expected.
Does Lightbulbs Direct offer trade accounts?
Yes. Businesses and tradespeople can open a trade account, which suits anyone buying bulbs and fittings regularly for properties, sites or customers.
Tips for using a Lightbulbs Direct voucher code
Type your Lightbulbs Direct voucher code into the code box at the checkout before you confirm payment, and check the order summary to see that the discount has been applied. Read the terms of the code first, since an offer may need a minimum spend or exclude certain products, and a code usually cannot be added once the order is placed.
How to save at Lightbulbs Direct
A Lightbulbs Direct voucher code is the easiest way to take money off an order. Buying multi-packs instead of single bulbs can lower the cost per bulb, and gathering everything into one order of £50 or more means standard delivery is free. Switching old halogen or CFL bulbs to LED can also reduce what you spend on electricity over time.
Delivery
Standard delivery takes 1-4 working days and costs £3.95, or nothing on orders over £50. Next working day delivery is £4.99. Large items start at £7.99 and extra large items at £13.99. Orders placed by 3pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, and extra charges apply to the Highlands, the islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
