About Marks & Spencer

Marks & Spencer - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Marks & Spencer - from voucher codes to how the service works day to day.
How do I use a Marks & Spencer voucher code?
Add your items to the basket on marksandspencer.com and go to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the field for promotional codes before you pay, and check the discount is applied to the total.
What is M&S Sparks?
Sparks is the Marks & Spencer loyalty scheme. Members get access to member offers, which are separate from voucher codes, so joining is worthwhile if you shop at M&S regularly.
Does Marks & Spencer sell other brands?
Yes. Alongside its own labels, M&S stocks brands such as Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Levi's, Clinique, Seasalt and White Stuff, so you can buy them in the same order as M&S clothing.
Tips for using a Marks & Spencer voucher code
Enter your Marks & Spencer voucher code at the checkout before paying, then check the reduction appears in the order summary. Sparks member offers are separate from voucher codes, so a code is not needed for those. Read the terms of each code, as it may only cover certain ranges or need a minimum spend.
How to save at Marks & Spencer
A Marks & Spencer voucher code is one way to save, but it also pays to join Sparks, since members get their own offers. Standard delivery on fashion, home and beauty is free over £75, so grouping items into one larger order can remove the delivery charge. On a smaller order, collecting from a store costs nothing, and Clearpay or PayPal Finance let you spread the cost of a bigger purchase.
Payment methods
Marks & Spencer accepts the following payment methods:
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Amex)
- M&S Money credit cards
- PayPal and PayPal Finance
- Apple Pay
- Clearpay (pay in instalments)
Delivery
For fashion, home and beauty, standard delivery costs £3.99 and is free on orders over £75, furniture excluded. Next-day and nominated-day delivery cost £5.99 each, and store collection is free, with orders held for five days. Standard furniture delivery is £15. Flowers, hampers and wine have their own free delivery options, and some postcodes, such as BT, GX, JE, GY, HS and ZE, have restrictions.
Returns and cancellation rights
Most items can be returned free of charge within 28 days. For sale items you have 14 days to tell M&S and then a further 14 days to send them back. You can drop a return at a store, post it using an Evri or Royal Mail QR label, or arrange a home collection for furniture. Refunds take 3-5 working days. Beauty, duvets, earrings, flowers, food, furniture, gift cards and swimwear have exceptions, such as needing to be sealed or unopened.
