Merlin Cycles - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Merlin Cycles - from voucher codes to rewards and the Cycle to Work scheme.
How do I use a Merlin Cycles voucher code?
Add your parts, clothing or bike to the basket and continue to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code field before paying, then check the total to see that the discount has been applied.
Does Merlin Cycles have a loyalty scheme?
Yes. Merlin Rewards is the shop's loyalty programme, which gives regular customers something back on the kit and parts they buy over time.
Can I buy a bike from Merlin Cycles on Cycle to Work?
Yes. Merlin Cycles accepts the Cycle to Work scheme, so if your employer takes part you can get a bike and equipment through salary sacrifice rather than paying up front.
Tips for using a Merlin Cycles voucher code
Enter your Merlin Cycles voucher code at the checkout before you pay, then check the order summary to make sure the reduction has gone through. Read the terms of the code first, as an offer may leave out complete bikes or certain brands, or need a minimum spend, and a code usually cannot be added after the order is placed.
How to save at Merlin Cycles
A Merlin Cycles voucher code is the most direct way to cut the cost of an order. The sale section covers components, clothing and bikes, and the shop runs weekly offers too. Joining Merlin Rewards pays off if you ride often, and the Cycle to Work scheme can bring down the cost of a new bike. Grouping smaller parts into one order over £60 also gets you free delivery on most items.
Payment methods
Merlin Cycles accepts the following payment methods:
- PayPal
- PayPal Pay in 3
- Finance
- Cycle to Work scheme
Delivery
Delivery is free on most orders to Great Britain over £60, though bikes are excluded and cost a flat £19.99 to send. Orders placed by 2:30pm are dispatched the same day by Royal Mail, DPD or Parcelforce, with next-day and Saturday options available. A signature is needed on delivery, and Merlin also ships abroad.
Returns and cancellation rights
You have 60 days from receiving an order to return it. Items must be unused and in their original packaging, and you send them back with the returns form. Return postage is paid by you unless Merlin made a mistake with the order. Refunds are made roughly 14 days after the return has been processed, and the shop advises against sending returns with Evri.
