Sarah Raven - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Sarah Raven - from voucher codes to gift vouchers and garden courses.
How do I use a Sarah Raven voucher code?
Add your plants, seeds or garden kit to the basket and go to the checkout. Type the voucher code into the discount field before you pay, then check that the reduction appears in the order total.
Can I pay with a Sarah Raven gift voucher?
Yes. Sarah Raven gift vouchers can be used towards an order, and a voucher can cover part of the total, with the rest paid another way. They also make a practical present for a keen gardener.
Does Sarah Raven run courses or open days?
Yes. Courses, experiences and open days are held at Perch Hill, the garden linked to the business, which suits anyone who wants to learn more about growing flowers and vegetables.
Does Sarah Raven offer a guarantee?
Sarah Raven advertises a lifetime guarantee. Read the terms on its website before you buy so you know which products it applies to and how to make a claim.
Tips for using a Sarah Raven voucher code
Enter your Sarah Raven voucher code at the checkout before you confirm payment, and look at the order summary to make sure the discount has been taken off. Check the terms of the code first, as an offer may be limited to certain ranges such as seeds or bulbs, or need a minimum spend before it applies.
How to save at Sarah Raven
A Sarah Raven voucher code is the quickest way to take money off an order. Standard delivery is free once you spend more than £60, so it can pay to combine seeds, bulbs and kit into one order rather than several small ones. The sale section is worth a look for plant, bulb and seed collections, and choosing standard delivery instead of next day keeps the delivery charge down.
Payment methods
Sarah Raven accepts the following payment methods:
- Debit and credit cards
- PayPal
- Sarah Raven gift vouchers
Delivery
Orders travel with Evri on a tracked service. Standard delivery costs £2.99 for seeds, £4.99 for bulbs and £5.99 for plants, garden kit and homeware, and it is free on orders over £60. Next-day delivery is available for seeds, bulbs and homeware when you order before noon on a weekday, but not for plants. Orders with two or more bulky items carry an extra £5 per item.
Returns and cancellation rights
You have 28 days from receiving your order to send items back. They must be unused, in a resaleable condition and in their original packaging. If you have simply changed your mind, £4.95 is taken off the refund, while faulty, damaged or incorrect items are returned free. Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days of the return arriving. Gift vouchers and personalised items cannot be returned.
More about Sarah Raven
Sarah Raven was founded in 1999 by Sarah Raven, who still owns the business. Perch Hill, the garden associated with the company, is where it runs its courses, experiences and open days. The shop covers the full cycle of a garden year, from perennials, shrubs and climbers to tulips, narcissi and dahlias, together with flower, vegetable and herb seeds. Garden kit, clothing, homeware and gifts round out the range, and the company also produces a podcast. Gift vouchers are available for anyone buying for a keen gardener.
