Skiset - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Skiset - from voucher codes to where you can hire equipment.
How do I use a Skiset voucher code?
Choose your resort, shop, equipment and dates, then continue to payment. Enter the voucher code in the code field before you confirm the booking, and check that the price has dropped.
Which countries does Skiset cover?
Skiset has hire shops in France, Italy, Austria, Andorra, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia, so you can book equipment for resorts in many parts of Europe.
Can I hire a helmet or sledge through Skiset?
Yes. As well as skis, snowboards and boots, you can reserve helmets, sledges and other accessories, so the whole group can be kitted out in a single booking.
Tips for using a Skiset voucher code
Enter your Skiset voucher code at the payment stage of your booking, before you confirm, and check that the discount shows in the total. Read the terms of the code first, as an offer may apply only to certain resorts, shops, equipment types or hire dates, and a code cannot usually be added once the booking is complete.
How to save at Skiset
The easiest way to save with Skiset is to book your equipment online before you travel, as pre-booking costs less than hiring the same kit over the counter in the shop. A Skiset voucher code can reduce the price further when you enter it at the payment stage. Adding helmets and accessories to the same booking also saves a separate trip to the shop once you arrive.
Payment methods
Skiset accepts the following payment methods:
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Maestro)
- American Express
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- iDEAL and ANCV Connect
Delivery
Nothing is posted to you. You book your hire online, choosing the resort shop and the dates you need, and then pick up your skis, snowboard, boots or accessories from that shop when you arrive in resort.
More about Skiset
Skiset was founded in 1994 and brings together a network of ski hire shops across Europe that can be booked through one website. Its coverage runs from the big Alpine countries of France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland to Andorra, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia. The business behind the site is Compagnie Française des Loueurs de Skis SA, based in Saint-Cloud, France. Bookings cover skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, sledges and accessories, and paying online in advance brings the price down compared with hiring in the shop on the day.
