Tempur - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Tempur - from voucher codes to sleep trials and paying over time.
How do I use a Tempur voucher code?
Add your mattress, pillow or bed to the basket and continue to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the promo field before you pay, then check that the total has been reduced.
Can I try a Tempur mattress at home?
Yes. Selected mattresses come with a 100-night trial, and pillows and toppers have a 30-night trial, so you can sleep on them at home before deciding whether to keep them.
Can I spread the cost of a Tempur purchase?
Yes. Tempur offers interest-free credit, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. It lets you pay for a mattress or bed in instalments rather than all at once.
Tips for using a Tempur voucher code
Enter your Tempur voucher code in the promo box at the checkout before you confirm the order, and check the summary to see that the discount has gone through. A code may only cover certain mattresses, pillows or bed bases, so read its terms first. Check too whether it can be combined with interest-free credit before you choose how to pay.
How to save at Tempur
A Tempur voucher code is the most direct way to take money off an order. Delivery to mainland UK is free, and the only extra charge there is for choosing a specific time slot, so the standard weekday delivery keeps the cost down. The sleep trials give you time to be sure before committing, and interest-free credit spreads the cost of a mattress or adjustable bed without adding interest.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is free. Small items arrive in 3-10 working days, while large items in standard sizes take 14-28 days and made-to-order pieces 6-14 weeks. Deliveries run on weekdays between 9am and 4pm, and a specific slot costs extra. Offshore areas pay £6-15 for small items, and large items go to mainland addresses only.
Returns and cancellation rights
Returns are free, with the full terms set out in a separate returns policy on the Tempur website. Selected mattresses can be tried at home for 100 nights, and pillows and toppers for 30 nights, giving you time to decide before you commit. Check which products are covered by a trial before you order.
More about Tempur
Tempur is part of TEMPUR Sealy International, and its products are built around the TEMPUR material, which dates back to 1991 and is made in Denmark. The UK website sells the full range directly, from mattresses and toppers to pillows, travel pillows, bedding and bed bases, including adjustable beds and frames. Alongside the products, Tempur offers a quality guarantee, home sleep trials on selected items and interest-free credit for larger purchases, so a significant buy such as a new mattress does not have to be paid for in one go. The website also has a product recall page for customers who want to check the status of an item they own.
