Theatre Tickets Direct - frequently asked questions
Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Theatre Tickets Direct - from voucher codes to gift vouchers and group bookings.
How do I use a Theatre Tickets Direct voucher code?
Choose your show, date and seats, then continue to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code field before you pay, and check that the discount has been taken off the total.
How do Theatre Tickets Direct gift vouchers work?
A gift voucher is redeemed at the checkout when you book. If the tickets cost less than the voucher is worth, the remaining balance stays on it for a later booking.
Can I book tickets for a group?
Yes. Theatre Tickets Direct handles group bookings, which makes it easier to arrange seats for a party, a school trip or a works outing to a West End show.
Can I combine a show with a meal?
Yes. Show-and-meal packages put theatre tickets and a meal together in one booking, so you can plan a full evening out without arranging the restaurant separately.
Tips for using a Theatre Tickets Direct voucher code
Enter your Theatre Tickets Direct voucher code at the checkout after you have chosen your seats, and look at the booking summary to make sure the reduction has been applied before you pay. Read the terms of the code first, as an offer may only cover certain shows or dates, and a code cannot be added once the booking is complete.
How to save at Theatre Tickets Direct
A Theatre Tickets Direct voucher code is the simplest way to take money off a booking, so enter one at the checkout if you have it. The discounted tickets page lists reduced seats across a range of shows, and a show-and-meal package can make an evening out easier to budget for. If you are going with friends or colleagues, a group booking is worth asking about.
Delivery
Tickets are sent as e-tickets by email, usually straight after you book, so there is nothing to wait for in the post. Some theatres release their tickets later, up to 48 hours before the performance, and in that case the e-tickets arrive closer to the show.
Returns and cancellation rights
Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded once bought. An exchange may be possible in some cases, subject to the terms, an admin fee and the theatre's approval. Optional TicketPlan cover can protect a booking against unexpected circumstances, though not a change of mind. If a show is cancelled, you are offered a refund or an exchange.
More about Theatre Tickets Direct
Theatre Tickets Direct was founded in London in 2005 and trades as Theatre Tickets Direct Ltd. It works as a ticket agent for West End productions, selling seats for musicals and plays through its website, and it is a member of STAR. Beyond standard tickets, the company puts together show-and-meal packages, takes group bookings and sells gift vouchers that can be used at the checkout. Interactive seating plans help buyers pick seats, and optional ticket protection is available for those who want cover if their plans change for reasons outside their control.
