Wickes - frequently asked questions

Here we answer the questions people ask most often about Wickes - from voucher codes to design appointments and energy products.

How do I use a Wickes voucher code?

Add your products to the basket on wickes.co.uk and go to the checkout. Enter the voucher code in the code field before you pay, and check that the total has been reduced.

Can Wickes help me design a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. Wickes offers free design appointments for kitchens and bathrooms, which help you plan the layout and choose products before you commit to buying anything.

Does Wickes sell solar panels and EV chargers?

Yes. Alongside traditional DIY supplies, Wickes sells energy products including solar panels, EV charging points and heat pumps, so you can look into these upgrades in one place.

Tips for using a Wickes voucher code

Enter your Wickes voucher code at the checkout before you complete payment, then check the order summary to make sure the discount has gone through. Read the terms first, because an offer may be limited to certain ranges, need a minimum spend, or not apply to made-to-measure items or bulky deliveries. A code normally has to be added before paying.

How to save at Wickes

A Wickes voucher code is the most direct way to save on an order. Click and collect is free, so picking up from a local store avoids the delivery charge, which matters most on big and bulky items. Returns to any store are free too, while a home collection return costs extra. For a larger project, Klarna and Clearpay let you spread the cost over time.

Payment methods

Wickes accepts the following payment methods:

  • Debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Klarna and Clearpay (pay later)

Delivery

Click and collect is free. Standard delivery starts from £5, with next-day delivery on orders placed by 6pm, and deliveries run Monday to Saturday. Big and bulky items start from £35. A rapid three-hour delivery is available within five miles of a store for an extra fee. Some postcodes, including BT, HS and ZE and parts of Scotland and Wales, are excluded.

Returns and cancellation rights

You have 30 days to return an item, and returning it to any Wickes store is free. A home collection return carries a fee. Made-to-measure products, gift cards and perishable goods cannot be returned. For online orders you also have the 14-day right to cancel.
